What you will do

Develop and execute CGI's business development plan for the Lithuania market
Identify, qualify and prioritize new clients and business opportunities
Build trusted relationships with senior business, technology, procurement and other key decision makers
Own the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and opportunity qualification to proposal, negotiation and contract signature
Establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline and define engagement strategies for priority prospects
Bring together capabilities from CGI's wider global organisation to create competitive client solutions
Lead and coordinate proposals, tenders and bids with delivery, subject matter, legal and finance teams
Represent CGI in the market and develop relationships with clients, partners and relevant business communities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Solid experience in business development, IT sales, strategic account development or a similar commercial role, including selling IT services, business consulting, systems integration, digital transformation or other professional services
Proven success in acquiring new clients and securing complex B2B contracts in the Lithuania market
Good knowledge of the Lithuania business environment and a strong network of business and technology contacts
Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Ability to understand client needs, develop business opportunities and coordinate internal teams during the sales process
Strong communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international organisation
Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English
Higher education in business, technology, economics, management or a related field
Qualifications considered a strong advantage
Experience with public procurement, tender preparation and contracting in Lithuania
Experience working with large companies, public organisations or regulated clients
Experience developing strategic partnerships or leading complex client engagements

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Lead to drive CGI's growth in the Lithuania market. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new clients and building trusted relationships with senior business and technology decision makers. You will work closely with clients to understand their priorities and connect them with the right capabilities from CGI's local and global organisation. You will manage the full business development lifecycle, from initial market engagement and opportunity qualification to proposal development, commercial negotiations and contract signature.
