Senior Backend engineer, Quality Engineering

Vinted Marketplace is Europe’s leading platform for second-hand fashion and a go-to destination for all kinds of pre-loved items, with a growing range of categories. Our platform connects millions of members across 20+ markets, helping great items find a new life.

Founded in 2008 in Lithuania, Vinted began as a way for friends to find new homes for clothes they no longer needed. In 2019, we became Lithuania's first unicorn! Today, our headquarters remain in Vilnius, and we've grown with offices across Europe, supported by a team of over 2,000 people.

Our team has recently enabled the organization to completely change how they automate Frontend tests, delivering the necessary infrastructure and handing it over to the Frontend developers. We are currently focusing on how to take Backend testing to the next level, in parallel to the company’s ongoing modularization initiative and edge deployments, and AI testing harness. We also work on collecting and displaying quality metrics in a way that’s useful both to leadership and to engineering. We own quite a few tools used in Vinted’s quality assurance. Some of them are built by us in-house (e.g. test reporting and flaky test management, test app distribution) and have received very positive feedback from the engineers! Others are purchased or open source solutions, with our additional functionality on top.

As a member of this team, you will suggest, design and implement solutions for fast and reliable quality assurance and ensure their successful adoption across the organization - or contribute to such solutions designed by others, depending on your skill level (we are open to both Senior candidates with relevant experience and to talented engineers who are up to the challenge to grow to the position).

• We’re hiring a Backend engineer to join the Quality Engineering team at Vinted Platform unit. Our team mission is to deliver tooling and golden paths for effective quality assurance across Vinted.

The gross monthly salary range for this position is
